How to Track Affiliate Sales and Performance Reports

How to Track Affiliate Sales and Performance Reports

Your Launchpad dashboard gives you a clear picture of how your promotions are performing. Here's how to find and read your sales data and reports.

Step 1: Log In and Go to Your Reports

Log in to your Launchpad dashboard. Look for a section called Partner, then click on Sales Summary from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: View Your Sales Overview

The overview page gives you a snapshot of your activity. You should see key numbers like:

  • Total clicks: How many times people clicked your affiliate links.
  • Total sales: How many of those clicks turned into actual purchases.
  • Total commissions earned: How much you've made from referred sales.
  • Conversion rate: The percentage of clicks that resulted in a purchase.

Step 3: Filter by Date or Product

If you're looking at a specific time period or want to see how a particular product is performing, use the filter options:

  • Date range: See sales from a specific week, month, or custom period.
  • Product: Filter to show only sales for a specific product.

Step 4: Check Your Payout History

Look for a My Account then Withdraw History section. This shows:

  • When payouts were sent
  • How much was paid out
  • The payment method used
  • The status of each payout (completed, pending, etc.)

Understanding Your Numbers

What's a good conversion rate? This varies, but anything above 2-3% is solid. If your conversion rate is low, consider whether you're targeting the right audience for the products you promote.

Why is a sale marked "pending"? Sales may be held in pending status for a short period to account for potential refunds. Once the refund window passes, the sale is confirmed and the commission is locked in.

Why did a commission get reversed? If a customer received a refund, the commission on that sale is reversed. You'll see this noted in your sales list.

Troubleshooting

Dashboard showing zero sales but you know people bought: Make sure customers are using your affiliate link (not just going to the website directly). Also, sales data may take a short time to update. If it's been more than 24 hours, submit a support ticket.

Numbers don't match what you expected: Remember that clicks don't always turn into sales. Also, if a customer clears their cookies or uses a different device to complete the purchase, the referral may not be tracked.

Can't find the reports section: Make sure you're logged in with a partner account. Reports are not available on customer-only accounts.
