How Payments Work on Launchpad

How Payments Work on Launchpad

Here's what happens when you make a purchase, from checkout to delivery.

Step by Step

  1. You find a product you like and click the purchase button.
  2. You enter your card details on our secure checkout page.
  3. Your payment is processed through either Stripe or Rapyd (our trusted payment partners).
  4. You get a confirmation email with your receipt and access details.
  5. The product is delivered to you digitally, usually through a download link or account access.

The whole process takes just a few minutes.

Who Processes My Payment?

Launchpad is the seller on every transaction. When you see a charge on your bank statement, it will show as a charge from Launchpad (or one of our payment processing partners).

We use two payment processors:

  • Stripe handles most card payments. It's the same system used by Amazon, Google, and thousands of other major companies.
  • Rapyd is our secondary processor and works the same way.

Both are fully encrypted, meaning your card details are protected during the transaction.

What About PayPal?

We don't accept PayPal at this time. We know many of our customers prefer PayPal and we're working to add it as a payment option. For now, any major credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express as well as Apple Pay & Google Pay) will work.

What If My Payment Fails?

If your payment doesn't go through, here are a few things to check:

  • Card details: Make sure the card number, expiration date, and security code are entered correctly.
  • Billing address: The address needs to match what your bank has on file.
  • Available funds: Check that you have enough balance or credit available.
  • Bank restrictions: Some banks block online purchases by default. Call your bank and let them know the charge is legitimate.

If you've checked all of that and it still doesn't work, submit a support ticket with the error message you're seeing and we'll help you figure it out.

Will I Be Charged More Than Once?

No. Unless you're buying a product that is clearly labeled as a subscription, you'll be charged once. Launchpad does not do surprise recurring charges.

I See a Charge I Don't Recognize

If there's a charge on your statement that you don't remember making, reach out to us before contacting your bank. We can look up the transaction and help you identify it. This is faster than filing a dispute with your bank and helps us resolve it directly.
